At the heart of The Edition Series is The Macallan's desire to innovate; to push the boundaries and challenge expectations in the creation, experience and enjoyment of The Macallan.

The Edition Series continues the story of their oak casks and obsession with wood, which is fundamental to the creation of all Macallan single malts, and gives the freedom to look beyond the traditional cask types used in other Macallan whiskies.

Each year a unique selection of casks, each with a special and distinctive character, is handpicked to create a new Edition that illustrates the diversity of the oak casks used to mature The Macallan whiskies.

Working with partners from different areas of expertise, each edition in the series is an individual edition - a true marriage of Macallan's expertise and the unique influence of different backgrounds on the whiskey making process.
